A Simpler Way to Soak

The two-person soaking tub started with a simple question.
What if we stripped things back?

Over the years, we’ve designed and built wood-fired and electric hot tubs of different sizes, each with their own purpose. But again and again, we found ourselves coming back to the same idea. The best moments in a tub are rarely about features. They’re about time. Time together. Time outside. Time away from everything else.

This soaking tub was designed to focus on that.

Built with the same care, just simplified

Although this is a new and more compact product, it’s built using the same materials, construction methods, and design principles as our larger, award-winning hot tubs.

The internal shell and exterior panels are made from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, chosen for hygiene, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. The structure is engineered for strength and stability, and the timber detailing is selected to weather naturally and quietly over time.

Nothing here is compromised. It’s simply more focused.

Designed for everyday use

This tub isn’t about special occasions. It’s about everyday rituals.

A quiet soak after work.
A slow start to the morning.
Watching your children play while you sit nearby.
Reading a book outdoors, whatever the weather.

The water depth is shallower than our larger tubs, making it feel more relaxed and approachable, particularly for couples and families. There are no jets, no bubbles, and no noise. Just gently heated water, held at a consistent temperature, always ready when you are.

It’s designed to be left on. To be simple. To be used often.

Thoughtful details that make living with it easier

A lot of thought went into how this tub would fit into real homes.

Many outdoor bathing products assume wide access or specialist installation. This soaking tub was designed with tighter spaces in mind. The exterior panels can be removed, allowing the tub to be carefully rotated onto its side and moved on a set of transport wheels. This makes it possible to pass through standard doorways or narrow garden access points before being set back down onto adjustable feet.

Once in place, it’s straightforward. A standard 13-amp power supply. Fill with water. Set the temperature.

No complicated installation. No unnecessary complexity.

Simple water care, part of the routine

Like any heated soaking tub, the water does need to be treated and looked after. This is an important part of keeping the water clean, comfortable, and safe to use.

We’ve designed the system to keep this as simple as possible. With no jets and gentle circulation, water care is straightforward and easy to stay on top of. Most owners find it quickly becomes a small, regular habit rather than something they have to think about constantly.

We provide clear guidance on water treatment and maintenance, and we’ve written a separate guide that explains this in more detail for anyone who’d like to understand the process better:

For most people, it’s simply part of owning a heated bathing space, and one that settles naturally into the rhythm of use.

Made to sit quietly in the background

Visually, the tub is intentionally restrained. Clean lines. Calm materials. Nothing that demands attention.

The timber will naturally silver over time. The stainless steel will age gracefully. The tub becomes part of the garden rather than the centre of it.

It’s designed to feel right in smaller outdoor spaces, courtyards, and terraces. A piece that looks considered rather than oversized.

A place to slow down

Ultimately, this soaking tub is about creating a small pocket of calm.

A place where phones stay inside.
Where conversations aren’t rushed.
Where the day softens around the edges.

It’s not trying to do everything.
It’s just trying to do one thing well.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what’s needed.
