This privacy policy explains how Tub Marine Limited, trading as Tubmarine (“we”, “us”), collects and uses your personal data when you visit tubmarine.co.uk or get in touch with us. Tub Marine Limited is registered in England and Wales (company number 08947737), with its registered office at Trewen, The Street, Motcombe, Shaftesbury, Dorset SP7 9PF. Our workshop is at Unit 1, The Old Sawmills, Middlemarsh, Sherborne, Dorset DT9 5QW, UK. We are the data controller for your personal data, and we process it in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including:

Squarespace needs this data to run the website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyses the data in a de-personalised form.

Enquiries, the product finder and the configurator

You can contact us through our enquiry form, the “Help me choose” product finder, the “Build your tub” configurator and the bespoke commission form. When you use any of these, we collect the details you give us: your name, your email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number. We also collect your answers and choices, for example where your tub will go, the product, size, finish and extras you select, whether you would like installation, when you hope to install, and any message you write.

We use this information to show you your shortlist or configured guide price, to send your enquiry to our team, and to follow up with you about it. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our products.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, a form-processing service. If you go from the product finder to the configurator in the same browser tab, your name and contact details are held temporarily in your browser’s session storage so that you don’t have to enter them again. This is cleared when you close the tab.

Specification sheet downloads

To download a specification sheet, we ask for your name and email address. We use these to give you the spec sheet and to follow up about your interest in that product. If you tick the optional box on the download form, we will also send you occasional updates about Tubmarine products. Leaving it unticked does not affect your download. Every update tells you how to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by replying to any of our emails or by contacting us at info@tubmarine.co.uk.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and download details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any order that follows, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. If you place an order, we keep your order records for as long as the law requires. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
