316 marine-grade stainless steel
The tub and all its visible surfaces, inside and out, are built from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, the same alloy specified for boat fittings and coastal hardware. Every seam is hand TIG welded, and any welds on the exterior are polished out for a seamless finish.

Kebony timber cladding
Clad in Kebony, a sustainably sourced, modified softwood with hardwood-like durability. It weathers to a soft natural silver and needs no oiling, staining or annual upkeep.
No oiling or sealing required
Integrated log store
A deep log store is built into the side of the tub, right beside the fire. It holds enough dry firewood for two or three heat-ups, exactly where you need it.

Tap for filling & cooling
An easy-access tap lets you fill the tub and cool the water by hand, so you control the temperature on the day. Top up with cold whenever your soak gets a touch too warm. The tap itself is Italian-made stainless steel.

29kW wood-fired heater
A powerful 29kW wood-fired heater brings the tub from cold to a full soak in roughly 2–2.5 hours for the 2-person and 2.5–3 hours for the 4–6 person. Handmade in 304 stainless steel with a heat-proof finish, it needs no electricity, just standard firewood.

The tub body is fully insulated and arrives with an insulated cover, so it holds heat far longer between top-ups and is ready for use through every season, including the depths of winter.

How it works
A wood-fired soak is wonderfully simple. No controls and no plumbing to wrestle with, just water, fire and a little patience.
Fill the tub
Fill with fresh water from a garden hose, or plumb in a permanent supply if you prefer.
Light the fire
Light the burner and keep it fed with dry logs from the built-in log store.
Cover & heat
Keep the insulated lid on while it heats. It holds the warmth in and gets you there far faster.
Check & stir
After about an hour, give the water a good mix to bring the warm top layer down.
Soak & adjust
Step in and enjoy. If it gets a touch too warm, top up with a little cold water.
Drain within 2 days
Keep the lid on between soaks and use the same water for up to 2 days, then drain it with the fast-drain valve.
Good to know: heat-up is typically 2–2.5 hours for the 2-person and 2.5–3 hours for the 4–6 person, from cold. The water isn’t chemically treated, so drain and refill at least every 2 days, and give the tub a rinse when you drain it.
Before it arrives
What your tub needs to sit on
A solid, level base. Nothing complicated, and we’re always happy to advise on your spot before you order.
Minimum supported base
The base must support the tub’s full footprint, so it’s fully supported across its full width and length.
A level, load-bearing surface
- Concrete: a level slab at least 100mm thick on a well-compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base (min 75mm deep). The most reliable option.
- Paving slabs: laid flat and level on a well-compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base (min 75mm deep).
- Decking: only if it’s solidly built and rated for the full weight of the tub, water and bathers.
- Adjustable feet on both sizes fine-tune small variations in level on the day.
- Filling: an ordinary garden hose is all you need. A permanent supply can run up through the base or in through the side panels.

What base does the tub need?
A level, stable base is essential. Concrete, paving slabs or solidly built decking all work well. We assess your garden during the enquiry and advise on preparation. Most gardens need minimal work.
How long does delivery take?
Lead time is typically 12–14 weeks from order confirmation. Each tub is handbuilt to order in our English workshop. Rush options are sometimes available, so ask us directly and we’ll explore what’s possible.
Can I leave water in the tub?
Yes, for up to two days. Keep the lid on between soaks, then drain and refill at least every two days, or sooner after heavy use. Rinse the tub each time you drain it.
Can I use the tub in winter?
Yes. All our tubs are fully insulated and come with an insulated cover, making them suitable for year-round use in all weather.
Do you offer installation?
Yes, and it’s included in the price for mainland England, Wales and Scotland. Most installations take a day. The Scottish Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are quoted separately. We also ship worldwide: prices outside the UK exclude VAT and UK delivery and installation, with shipping quoted for your address.
What is the warranty?
We offer a 15-year warranty on the stainless steel structure and 15 years on the Kebony timber against rot, covering manufacturing defects and material failure. The lid, steps and plumbing fittings are covered for 2 years. Normal wear, natural weathering of the timber and maintenance items are excluded. Full terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
How do I look after the timber?
Kebony is low maintenance by design. No sealing or oiling is required, and it weathers naturally to a silver-grey patina. Clean once or twice a year with warm water and mild detergent. To keep the original colour, apply a clear UV-protective wood finish annually.
