Wood-fired Hot Tubs
2 person tub
New 2026 design — improved build
316 marine-grade stainless steel
The tub and all its visible surfaces — inside and out — are built from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, the same alloy specified for boat fittings and coastal hardware. Every seam is hand welded, and any welds on the exterior are polished out for a seamless finish. It shrugs off salt and weather without rusting or staining, so it stays looking new for years.
Kebony timber cladding
Clad in Kebony — a modified hardwood that weathers to a soft natural silver and needs no oiling, staining or annual upkeep. Beautiful on the first day and a decade in, with none of the maintenance ordinary timber demands.
Integrated log store
A deep log store is built into the side of the tub, right beside the fire — holding enough dry firewood for two or three heat-ups at a time, exactly where you need it, and keeping your wood dry and ready to light.
Tap for filling & cooling
An easy-access tap lets you fill the tub and cool the water by hand, giving you simple, precise control over the temperature on the day — top up with cold whenever your soak gets a touch too warm. The tap itself is Italian-made stainless steel.
Wood-fired 29kW heater
A powerful 29kW wood-fired heater brings the tub from cold to a full soak in roughly 2–2.5 hours. Handmade in 304 stainless steel and finished with heat-proof paint, it needs no electricity — just standard firewood and the smell of a real fire.
Fully insulated, year-round
The tub body is fully insulated and arrives with an insulated cover, so it holds heat far longer between top-ups and is genuinely ready for use through every season — including the depths of winter.
Optional access steps
Matching steps make stepping in and out easy and are built to sit perfectly alongside the tub. Available as an optional extra.
UK-wide installation service · worldwide shipping available. * Build slots are limited and scheduled on a first-come basis. Guarantee subject to terms and conditions, available on request.

How it works
A wood-fired soak is wonderfully simple. No controls, no plumbing to wrestle with — just water, fire and a little patience.
Step 01
Fill the tub
Fill with fresh water from the tap. That’s all the setup it needs — no pipework, no power.
Step 02
Light the fire
Light the burner and keep it fed with dry logs. The integrated log store keeps fuel close to hand.
Step 03
Cover & heat
Keep the insulated lid on while it heats — it holds the warmth in and brings the tub up to temperature far faster.
Step 04
Check & stir
After about an hour, give the water a good mix. Heat rises, so stirring brings the warm top layer down through the cooler water below.
Step 05
Soak & adjust
Step in and enjoy. If it ever gets a touch too warm, just open the tap to top up with cold and bring it back to your perfect temperature.
Step 06
Drain after use
When you’re done, the fast-drain valve empties the tub in minutes — out onto the garden if you like, or away to a drain.
Heat-up time is typically 2–2.5 hours for the 2-person tub and 2.5–3 hours for the 4–6 person, from cold. No chemicals are needed for a single soak — a simple rinse keeps it fresh.
Before it arrives
What your tub needs to sit on.
A Tubmarine is built to last, so it deserves a solid, level base. Here’s what to prepare — nothing complicated, and we’re always happy to advise on your specific spot before you order.
Recommended base size
2-person
2038 × 1544 mm
~1,350 kg filled
(tub + water)
4–6 person
2038 × 2014 mm
~1,850 kg filled
(tub + water)
Match the base to the tub’s footprint so it’s fully supported across its full width and length.
A level, load-bearing surface
- Concrete: a level slab at least 100mm thick is ideal — the most reliable base for a filled tub.
- Paving slabs: laid flat and level on a well-compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base (min 75mm deep).
- Decking: only if it’s solidly built and rated to take the full weight of the tub, water and bathers.
Adjustable feet
Both sizes have adjustable feet, so small variations in level can be fine-tuned on the day — but the base itself should still be as flat and firm as possible.
Water connection
The wood-fired tubs need a water connection for filling — this can run up through the base beneath the tub, or in through the side panels from an outside supply, whichever suits your spot.
