It’s been a real luxury for us to look forward to each weekend. Overall the whole process from initial sales questions, to shipping and installation went very smoothly.

As a private customer based in Switzerland, we found Tubmarine through online searches when looking for wood-fired hot tubs. The team were really helpful in providing rapid responses to any questions we had, as well as giving additional details on material specifications, photos and videos of their products to help us decide. This was much appreciated given we weren’t able to see their hot tubs in person. Tubmarine took care of all the customs paperwork and shipping details, leaving us only to meet the delivery driver on the day. It arrived in perfect condition, already assembled in its own protective crate.

Visually the exterior look of the tub is every bit as good as Tubmarine’s photos and video. The welds and fixtures which are only visible when you take the tub to pieces are of a super high quality. You really have the impression a lot of care and attention has gone into the design, engineering and manufacture.

Operationally the hot tub is very easy. We have the 2-person tub, which takes about 2 hours to heat, and the fire is very easy to light and keep going. It’s been very easy to get the hang of getting the right water temperature to sit in the tub for 1–2 hours at a time. Seating is very comfortable due to the reclined position, and the wooden area above the firebox and wood store makes an excellent place for towels and drinks, or just sitting on.

Seeing how the hot tub survived its first winter of use in the Swiss mountains, covered in snow and ice, I have the impression there’s going to be many years of enjoyment to come.

The shipping confusion due to COVID could have been a huge nightmare but the team were awesome in anticipating our needs and getting everything sorted out. After unpacking the tub we found all the parts beautifully packaged for shipping and all the fittings we needed for installation were safely wrapped inside.

Since this tub delivery we have reached out to learn more about other tubs and plunges and the customer service after the sale has been great. We are looking forward to working with Tubmarine on future projects and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone looking for a high quality product.
