Our biggest US project
19 bespoke tubs for One&Only Moonlight Basin, Montana
It started with one wood-fired tub we shipped to a customer in Montana. A local hot tub supplier saw it, and soon after the team behind One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, working with architect Tom Kundig, asked us to build their soaking tubs. We designed, built and shipped all 19: a mix of two- and four-person tubs with powder-coated frames, sunk into decking, with hydraulic lids and heavy insulation.

Touchscreen control
Set your temperature and jets from a simple touch panel on the rim. The integrated heater holds the water at temperature automatically, so it’s ready the moment you are.

12, 24 or 36 directional jets
Twelve jets in the 2-person, twenty-four in the 4-person and thirty-six in the 6-person deliver a targeted, full-body massage and keep the water circulating. Aim them where you want them and dial the pressure to suit.

316 marine-grade stainless steel
The tub and exterior surfaces are built from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, inside and out, the same alloy used for boat fittings. Every seam is hand TIG welded.

Kebony timber cladding
Clad in Kebony, a sustainably sourced, modified softwood with hardwood-like durability. It weathers to a soft natural silver and needs no oiling or staining.

Optional access steps
Matching Kebony steps with brushed stainless legs and black powder-coated sides make getting in and out easy, and sit perfectly alongside the tub. Available as an optional extra.

Good to know: day to day there’s very little to do. The easy-access filter rinses clean in minutes, and the insulated body and cover keep running costs low. Keep the water balanced with a suitable sanitiser; we can include a starter water-care pack with your tub.

Shipped to you

Minimum supported base
The base must support the tub’s full footprint, across its full width and length.
A level base and a power supply
- Concrete: a level slab at least 4 in thick on a well-compacted gravel sub-base. The most reliable option.
- Pavers: laid flat and level on a well-compacted gravel sub-base.
- Decking: only if it’s solidly built and rated for the full weight of the tub, water and bathers.
- Adjustable feet fine-tune small variations in level on the day.
- Power: a dedicated 240 V, 40 A circuit, installed by a licensed electrician. No plumbing or water connection.
Door-to-door shipping
Your tub ships fully assembled in an enclosed timber crate, insured from our workshop to your door. Shipping takes around 4–5 weeks.
Import charges
Our electric tubs are classified under HTS 9019.10.2045 (CBP ruling N365099). Any US tariff and customs charges are payable on arrival.
Placing the tub
A local contractor lifts it into place, by forklift, telehandler or crane, depending on access. We send them the dimensions, weight and lifting details.

What power does the tub need?
A dedicated 240 V, 40 A circuit, installed by a licensed electrician. There’s no plumbing or water connection; you fill it with a garden hose. The 3 kW heater holds your temperature automatically.
How long does it take to arrive?
Each tub is handbuilt to order, which takes 12–16 weeks. Shipping then takes around 4–5 weeks door to door, so allow roughly 16–21 weeks from order to delivery.
Will I pay import duty or tariffs?
Our electric tubs are classified under HTS 9019.10.2045 (CBP ruling N365099). Any US tariff on UK goods and customs charges are payable on arrival and aren’t included in our price. We’re happy to share the ruling with your customs broker.
Who installs it?
The tub arrives fully assembled. A local contractor places it on your base, and a licensed electrician connects the circuit. We advise on siting, the base and access before it ships, and support you by phone or video on the day.
Can I use it in winter?
Yes. The tub is fully insulated and comes with an insulated cover, so it holds heat well and is built for year-round use, in snow or sun.
How do I pay?
We invoice in pounds sterling. A 50% deposit secures your build slot, and the balance is due one week before shipping. Dollar prices on this page are a guide only, at today’s exchange rate.
What is the warranty?
15 years on the stainless steel and the Kebony timber, and 2 years on equipment such as the heater, pumps and controls. Outside the UK, we supply covered replacement parts free of charge, with remote help to fit them. Full terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
How noisy is it?
Quiet. In circulation mode it runs at around the level of a modern refrigerator, thanks to anti-vibration mounts and the motor design.
